
Meet Arturo Chacon

ABOUT ARTURO
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California Arturo and his family have established themselves in the local communities serving as elected members of school boards, city councils, special districts, and non-profit organizations. Arturo Chacon was first elected to the Central Basin Municipal Water District in 2006. An advocate for innovative water resource management, he is the Founder and President of Chacon Water Advisory, a company dedicated to educating Southern California on the use of water-efficient landscaping. Director Chacon is also a member of the Water Conservation Garden and Friends of Clean Water, two non-profit organizations focused on promoting water-awareness and conservation. Additionally, he has extensive experience in city government, having served as a commissioner of parks and recreation and city planning.
